* After we lost Afrika Bambaataa, a few weeks ago, I posted the Time Zone EP, and I had a thought, about a compiling a compilation of 12" versions and extended tracks. 12X12 Vol 1, I threw it together one day, think if I continue with this home made comp. There will be a greater spread of genres, it was banged together with some stuff I had in the laptop at the time. So future ones would include 80's music, electronic music, reggae, soul and funk and a few more genres. As these are longer tracks, that was why I called it 12X12, they will only contain 12 tracks, which should make a comp that plays for at least 60 minutes, give or take. The tracks have been checked and like Box Of Vibes are all true 320. *

DeleteWell I love the idea, some of the tracks at not my thing, but I will keep the ones I like and delete the others, please make some more, it will help my musical education. Have got so many new artists via the Box of Vibes series. I will take a couple more listens to it, sometimes it takes time to take to a track. Peter P
DeleteYeah not every track everyone will like, all you can ask is people take a listen. I compiled vol 2 & 3 the other day. These are checked and ready to go, will depend on the downloads if they get posted or not. Thanks for your feedback Peter.
DeleteOk Peter P there will be more, I set a target, a certain number of downloads by a certain day, we have reached the target, days earlier, so vol 2 will appear sometime next week.

Was an idea, made it quickly and posted it, and there has been more downloads than I expected. Think the next 2 volumes are more accessible in the music included. Made volume 4 earlier today. Concha was my test dummy, sent her it and asked what she thought, I did tell her there was some tracks that I didn't think were her thing.🤣
