A slightly expanded digital reissue of Barcelona's classic indiepop/electronic pop debut album featuring two bonus tracks, which came out the same year but were not originally featured on the CD: "Why Do You Have so Much Fun Without Me? (hollAnd Remix)" from Various Artists - Little Darla Has A Treat For You V.14, Winter 2000 (Darla) and "I've Got The Password To Your Shell Account" from Various Artists - Moshi Moshi: Pop International Style (March).

Original album description: Their first record is a doozy. Songs for the Commodore 64 generation, Simon Basic captures the new wave thrill of Human League, B-Movie, and current heroes The Rentals & Wolfie. Jen, Ivan, Jason, & Christian are the four DC popsters to be and they've enlisted Trevor hOLLAND to twiddle knobs and Mark Robinson to TeenBeat the Graphica. What a way to enter the indie-pop sweepstakes!

An expanded digital reissue of Barcelona's classic indiepop/electronic pop second album featuring nine bonus tracks, which came out the same year but were not originally featured on the CD. All together here are tracks from both Robot Trouble and Studio Hair Gel twin EPs (March) plus a cover of the epic hit "Mirror Man" from Various Artists - Reproductions: Songs Of The Human League (March). 2000 was Barcelona's most productive year.

Transhuman Revolution

A slightly expanded digital reissue of Barcelona's classic indiepop/electronic pop third album featuring a cover of the cult classic Altered Images "I Could be Happy", which was then only available on a limited edition promo CDr!
Original album description: Pop, punk, disco and new wave influences reign here, everything from Blondie, Moroder, Agent Orange, New Order, and Unrest to Funboy Three. Imagine Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" if it had been recorded by Sparks. Frequently labelled "programmer pop" and "geek rock", Barcelona have succeeded in creating a sound unique to themselves. Jennifer's confident vocals support Jason's endearing vocal vunerability. Equal parts indie rock and retro-synthesized pop, Transhuman Revolution is referential and incomparable; erratic and infinitely catchy. Produced and collaborated on with Trevor/hollAnd. The album was sequenced by FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH author, Cameron Crowe. Easily the best record from Barcelona yet. It's like 10 new singles.
