The Church with The George Ellis Orchestra – A Psychedelic Symphony (Live At The Sydney Opera House) (2014) 320

In April 2011, celebrating a 30 year Anniversary and recent ARIA Hall of Fame induction, Australian musical icons THE CHURCH played a spectacular sold out show at the Sydney Opera House. This Psychedelic Symphony was a one-off musical event and fan treat, featuring the bands' collaboration with conductor George Ellis and his specially assembled Orchestra. *

  2. Hi Reb,
This does interest me as The Church has had an interesting long career and Steve Kilbey continues to make some fine music. I haven't seen them live since the early days of 1980/81 and missed out on tickets for a recent show in Sydney.
This record promises to give a different slant to the music !
    Many thanks.

  3. Thanks Reb!
Strangely enough, I saw The Church in 1990 during their “Gold Afternoon Fix” tour in the Grenoble area. It was a great concert, and it was my first time seeing this Australian band.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy new year.
