Angela Bofill was an American soul / jazz / R&B singer / songwriter. Born May 2nd, 1954 in the Bronx, New York City, NY, U.S.A. Died June 13th, 2024 in Vallejo, CA, U.S.A. She dueted with Johnny Mathis for the ballad "You're A Special Part Of Me" (1984). Her signature song was "I Try" but also recorded dance hits "Too Tough", "Angel Of The Night" and "Something About You".
